On August 11, Line attended a Young Life Christian meeting and had plans of spending most of the night with her mother at the hospital. To expedite her travels, she borrowed a moped from a friend. Unfortunately, Caroline never made it there.

Investigators spoke to witnesses and determined Found was southbound when she struck a curb near a curve in the street and lost control. Found and the moped struck a tree in the median. She was killed upon impact, police said. Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident.

Caroline was driving down Mormon Trek Boulevard on her way home from a church event when she lost control of her moped, hit a tree and died instantly.
